The SLSGB Membership payment is to cover you and the club for all insurance purposes when attending any Harlyn Surf Life Saving Club activity hence why you have to have cover before you join in with any activity with us. Harlyn Surf Life Saving Club is a charity and relies solely on membership fees, subs and fundraising. All our volunteers/helpers take no payment from the club and we wish to thank all our members that help throughout the year.
We trust that you will understand that memberships and payments must be made before children can attend the club for summer training.
HSLSC reserve the right to cancel any activities.
Additional information for parents of children aged 7 who need to be accompanied in the water
HSLSC and SLSGB membership needs to be obtained in the name of the adult who will accompany the child in the water and on the beach at the sessions, in addition to HSLSC and SLSGB membership for the child.
The adult has full responsibility for their child and must stay with their child for the entire session.
Separate Health and Safety Forms need to be completed for both the child and accompanying adult.
Parent/helpers who are entering the sea with their chid will need to do a water safety course. This will be arranged before the start of the season and will consist of a morning or afternoon at Harlyn.
